The exhibit Plasma brought together more than 25 artworks in painting and sculpture by Mexican artists Víctor Hugo Pérez and Raúl Cerrillo. This selection of their most recent production included mainly expressionist art focused on sharing emotions, thoughts and mental states on surfaces such as canvas and wood. The strength of their strokes engages viewers through a sonorous inaudible voice, resulting in sensations directed at the unconscious that has the capacity to take observers on an almost physical journey through textures and generous coats of pigment.

These artists, with their similar interest in visual arts and their parallel artistic journeys, express life experiences through their work, exhibiting their creative decisions and esthetic individuation with a resolve that stems at times from the intimate rendition of daily living in a modern metropolis. They detail the essential search of the individual spirit, using the roadmap of painting and art to cross into personal existence, where their art can be both a mirror and a journal for confronting themselves while simultaneously constructing an essential whole for the viewer.
